What is Capoeira?

Capoeira is a Brazilian Art Form which brings together elements of Martial Arts, Dance, Music and Acrobatics but played as a game. Capoeira was developed by African slaves brought to Brazil.

An Art form that, despite being illegal and prosecuted after abolition until well up to the middle of the twentieth century, with virtually no outside help, has not just spread throughout Brazil but the entire world!

Learning Capoeira will not only improve your physical fitness but will also introduce you to many different aspects of Brazilian culture (music, language, dance) as well as the opportunity to meet new people and built strong friendships!
