Head of Group Senzala North East, Jimi McAvoy has been practising Capoeira since 1989 under the guidance of Mestre Gato - one of the founding members of the Senzala group in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Thursday 16th January - Thursday 13th February, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
We are currently offering a 5 week introductory capoeira course in partnership with Dance City, designed to teach you the fundamental techniques of capoeira.
The session consists of warm-up & stretching, training and roda (circle where capoeira is played).
The course costs £25 for all 5 sessions
