Head of Group Senzala North East, Jimi McAvoy has been practising Capoeira since 1989 under the guidance of Mestre Gato - one of the founding members of the Senzala group in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
About the class
Every Tuesday, 7.00pm - 8.30pm (with music practice from 7pm - 7.30pm)
The Heaton Community Centre classes are ideal for both beginners and more experienced capoeira students.
The session consists of warm-up & stretching, training and roda (circle where capoeira is played) with full bateria.
